Prof. Chong-Yung Chi, IEEE Life Fellow Department of Electrical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, China Chong-Yung Chi (祁忠勇) received B.S. degree from Tatung Institute of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, China in 1975, Master degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, China in 1977, and Ph.D. degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California, in 1983 all in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he is Professor of National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, China . He has published more than 240 technical papers (with citations more than 6,700 times by Google-Scholar), including more than 90 journal papers (mostly in IEEE Trans. Signal Processing), more than 140 peer-reviewed conference papers, and 2 books, including a textbook, Convex Optimization for Signal Processing and Communications from Fundamentals to Applications, CRC Press, 2017 (which has been popularly used in a series of invited intensive short courses at 10 top-ranking universities in Mainland China since 2010 before its publication). He received 2018 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award, entitled “Outage Constrained Robust Transmit Optimization for Multiuser MISO Downlinks: Tractable Approximations by Conic Optimization,” IEEE Trans. Signal Processing, vol. 62, no. 21, Nov. 2014. His current research interests include signal processing for wireless communications and networking, convex analysis and optimization for blind source separation, biomedical and hyperspectral image analysis, graph based learning and signal processing, and data security and privacy protection in machine learning. He is an IEEE Fellow and an AAIA Fellow. He has been a Technical Program Committee member for many IEEE sponsored and co-sponsored workshops, symposiums and conferences on signal processing and wireless communications, including Co-Organizer and General Co-Chairman of 2001 IEEE Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications (SPAWC). He was an Associate Editor (AE) for four IEEE Journals, including IEEE Trans. Prof. Yudong Zhang,IEEE Senior Member Informatics, University of Leicester, UK Prof. Yudong Zhang is a Chair Professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, UK. His research interests include deep learning and medical image analysis. He is the Fellow of IET, Fellow of EAI, and Fellow of BCS. He is the Senior Member of IEEE and ACM. He is the Distinguished Speaker of ACM. He was the 2019, 2021 & 2022 recipient of Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. He has (co)authored over 400 peer-reviewed articles. There are more than 50 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 5 ESI Hot Papers in his (co)authored publications. His citation reached 22936 in Google Scholar (h-index 84). He has conducted many successful industrial projects and academic grants from NIH, Royal Society, GCRF, EPSRC, MRC, Hope, British Council, and NSFC. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. He serves/served as Track Co-Chair of VTC Fall 2022 and WCNC 2020/2021, Symposium Chair of Globecom'19, TPC Co-Chair of INFOCOM 2018 Workshop on Integrating Edge Computing, Caching, and Offloading in Next Generation Networks, and General Co-Chair of GameNets'16. Prof. Shuwen Xu, IEEE Senior Member Xidian University, China Shuwen Xu (IEEE Senior Member) was born in Anhui, China. He received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees, both in electronic engineering, from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. He worked at the National Laboratory of Radar Signal Processing, Xidian University, after that. He worked as a visiting professor in Mcmaster University in 2017 and 2018, Canada. He is currently a professor with the National Laboratory of Radar Signal Processing, Xidian University. He is also the vice director of National Collaborative Innovation Center of Information Sensing and Understanding and the Director of radar signal processing and data processing Department. Prof.Xiaojin Zhao, IEEE Senior Member, Chair of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Shenzhen Chapter Shenzhen University, China Xiaojin Zhao (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degrees in both microelectronics and applied mathematics from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2005, and Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong, China, in 2010. From 2010 to 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with HKUST. In 2012, he joined Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China, where he is currently a Professor with the College of Electronics and Information Engineering. In 2014, he was a Visiting Scholar with IMEC, Leuven, Belgium. He has published 103 international journal articles and peer-reviewed conference papers (mostly in IEEE). His research interests include trustworthy CMOS image sensor design and its related hardware security techniques (e.g., physical unclonable function and true random number generator) Dr. Zhao serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal and a Guest Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers (TCAS-I). He has served as an organizing/technical committee member in various IEEE conferences (e.g., DAC, ISCAS, APCCAS, PrimeAsia, Asian-HOST). He also serves as a Technical Committee Member for the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) on Sensory Systems and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) on VLSI Systems and Applications. He was a co-recipient of the Best Student Paper Award from the IEEE EDSSC’2018 in Shenzhen, China, and the Outstanding Student Paper Award from the IEEE MEMS’2020 in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He has one paper selected as the cover page of the IEEE Electron Device Letters (EDL) in 2020 and two papers selected as the finalist of the Best Paper Award for AsianHOST’2017 in Beijing, and AsianHOST’2019 in Xi’an, China. Prof. Antonios Andreatos Division of Computer Eng., Hellenic Air Force Academy, Greece Antonios S. Andreatos received the Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, the MSc degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, US, MEd in Adult Education from the Hellenic Open University, Greece and PhD in Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He is currently Professor at the Hellenic Air Force Academy, Greece. He has published over 120 papers in international journals and conference proceedings, six book chapters and three books. He is also involved in the scientific committees of several conferences and reviewer in several journals. His current research interests focus on Cryptography, Image processing, Cyber Security, IoT, as well as Engineering Education, e-Assessment, Cyber Security Education and Training. Assoc. Prof. Jie Huang, IEEE Member Southeast University, China Jie Huang received the B.E. degree in Information Engineering from Xidian University, China, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Shandong University, China, in 2018. From Oct. 2018 to Oct. 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the National Mobile Communications Research Laboratory, Southeast University, China, supported by the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents. From Jan. 2019 to Feb. 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Durham University, UK. Since Nov. 2020, he has been an Associate Professor in the National Mobile Communications Research Laboratory, Southeast University, China and also a researcher in Purple Mountain Laboratories, China. He is an IEEE Member and a Senior Member of China Institute of Communication (CIC). He has published more than 60 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include millimeter wave, THz, massive MIMO, reconfigurable intelligent surface channel measurements and modeling, wireless big data, and 6G wireless communications. He received Best Paper Awards from WPMC 2016, WCSP 2020, and WCSP 2021. Prof. Ran Cheng, IEEE Senior Member, Founding Chair of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Shenzhen Chapter Southern University of Science and Technology, China Dr. Ran Cheng is currently a tenured Associate Professor with the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), China. He received the PhD degree in computer science from the University of Surrey, UK, in 2016. His research interests mainly fall into the interdisciplinary fields across evolutionary computation and other major AI branches such as deep learning and reinforcement learning, aiming to provide end-to-end solutions to optimization & modeling in scientific research and engineering related applications.
